This very special collaboration has been influenced by the Natural History Museum’s incredible building. First opened in 1881, the Museum is now considered a work of art in its own right. Alfred Waterhouse, a young architect from Liverpool, used a mixture of Gothic Revival & twelfth-century Romanesque-style architecture, in line with Museum founder Sir Richard Owen’s vision of creating a ‘cathedral to nature’.
