Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuuming the back of your rug with the rotating brush tool will help to push any dirt which is trapped deep down towards the top of the rug; the rug can then be flipped right side up and this dirt can be shaken off.
