The White Bowmore 1964 is the second in a series of 3 bottles. The First was the black Bowmore, now white & soon it will be the gold. Being aged a 43 years makes this the oldest Bowmore ever produced. The Whisky contained in the bottle was laid down to rest in 6 different bourbon casks in the renowned Bowmore No.1 vault. This is a limited edition Bowmore bottled at cask strength with only 932 bottles produced making it an extremely rare whisky. The White Bowmore has an exception scent of tropical fruit & gentle smoke. As the aroma develops you can detect guava, juicy papaya a fait peat & vanilla. On the palate it is full, with the essence of pine & hickory embellishing on the tongue. This is followed by a sugary sweet flavour of vanilla & honey which is rounded up by a nice soft peaty smoke. The finish is long & fruity which is then followed up by an oak flavour that develops slowly.
