Casco Viejo Reposado is created from the agave plant from the hills in Jalisco, Mexico. It is rested in American oak barrels for two months to allow all the flavours to combine & settle with each other. Casco Viejo is produced by the Camarena family who are the third largest owners of agave plantations in Mexico. They are also the fifth largest tequila brand worldwide but the biggest seller of tequila in Mexico City. The tequila is a rich golden colour & on the nose it has an aroma of fresh agave with notes of cedar & fresh intense spices. On the palate you detect an agave flavour with fresh hints & peppery flavour at the end.
