Ripening from a dark bottle-green to a vivid red this fiery pepper weighs in at an impressive 15, 000-20, 000 SHU. Yield handfuls of fruits that have a great spicy kick it's spice has been best described as below that of a convenetially-sized ‘ Cayenne’. A ‘ Joe’s Super Long’ pungency makes it an excellent chilli pepper for making hot sauces. Supplied in a 10 cm pot, your chilli pepper plant will reach heights of 90-120 cm with a slender habit of around 60 cm wide. Caring for your Joe’s Super Long Your chilli plant will perform best in a greenhouse but will produce a good crop in a sunny sheltered location outdoors. It is important that you give it time to adjust to its new environment. Check the compost is moist & if required leave the plant to soak in Approx. 5mm water for 5-10 minutes or until the top of the compost is damp.
