I first spotted this American heirloom tomato in a market in Petaluma, California. They were sold in small punnets, with the local children eating them like fruit! Each tomato is fire engine red & striped with gold, so why wouldnt you want to grow Pink Tiger at home? A pointed plum variety producing masses of 5cm (2) long fruits, that are sweet with a good balance of acidity. Grown as a cordon (indeterminate), this variety will grow well outside when given a sunny, sheltered spot. Equally happy in a greenhouse or polytunnel, Pink Tiger will give you high yields of crack resistant tomatoes throughout the summer.
