The worlds first anvil pruner was developed & patented by Walther Schroder in Kiel, Germany in 1923. Randolph Schroder, the current Managing Director, is the third generation of his family to manufacture Lowe pruners, continuing the family tradition. The company's pruners are designed & manufactured to the highest standards, & although many British gardeners will not have heard of them, it is likely that they have owned a pair, because for many years the pruners were manufactured by Rolcut here in the UK & sold under that well-known brand name.
