Product Description

The rubber plant gets its name from the white latex running through its veins, which used to be used to make rubber. The thick glossy green leaves even have a rubber-like look to them. It will grow upright & form a beautiful plant which can be put on centre stage. They are easy to grow & will be very happy in a bright room but with plenty of shade available too. The perfect accompaniment for a north facing room. Keep away from cold draughts & radiators, & will need a constant temperature of 16C (60F) & 24C (75F). Be sure to not leave it in a room which can drop in temperature dramatically as this can cause its leaves to drop. Water regularly between Spring & Autumn, allowing the pot to drain in between each watering. In the winter months reduce the amount of watering & let the compost dry out. Feed can be provided during active growth periods between March & September. Height Up To 300cm (118in) Spread Up To 150cm (59in)
