Every garden needs pollinators, including bees, butterflies, moths, hoverflies & many others. Without them there would be limited flowers & even fewer fruit & vegetables, so youre doing them a real favour growing a selection of plants that will provide them with a good source of nectar & pollen. Both honey bees & bumble bees are active from February until September/ October, & its important that they have suitable plants in flower throughout that period. Bees have good colour vision, so choose several colours of flowers. & the more flowers you have the more attractive to pollinators your garden will be!
