Last year we introduced Indigo Rose, the world's first black tomato. This year we have upped the ante by grafting this together with a creamy-white cherry variety to produce the first black & white tomato plant! Throughout our 2014 tomato trial this starkly contrasting duo has proved to be one of the biggest talking points. Perfect for patios & small spaces
- they'll create the wow factor this summer! & the two colours boast two very different flavours: Indigo Rose is clean, fresh & savoury with a hint of smokeyness while White Cherry is all sweet & fruity with barely a touch of acid. (Cordon variety
- one stem grown by pinching off side-shoots as they appear, needs staking & tying in.) Indigo Rose
- A black-skinned tomato, even healthier than red varieties, nice in salads or, even better, roasted. White Cherry
- Unusual, slightly larger, creamy-white with a sweet, fruity flavour. Same type Same speed of growth Same heavy-cropping nature to produce much bigger crops from less space Perfect for patios & small spaces They'll create the wow factor this summer! Weve grafted two tomato varieties onto one plant, so you can pick a bountiful crop of two mouth-watering varieties from just one plant! Both have been selected for their quality & taste & will perform well in a sunny spot outside or in a greenhouse. & not only do you get bigger crops from less space but, because theyve been grafted for extra vigour, theyll be ready to pick earlier too! Please note: There is a possibility that your plant will include a grafting clip, if it does, this is an integral part of the grafting process & that it should be left in place. As the plant grows it will naturally shrug off the clip.
