Taken from an ancient greengage hedge on Ray Mannnings' fruit farm at Willingham near Cambridge (home of greengages), this superb selection will produce good crops of roundish, medium-sized, bright green fruit in August. The fruit are sweet & aromatic
- good for cooking but also delicious eaten raw when really ripe. Grown on St Julien A rootstock providing a medium sized tree of 2-2.5m (7-8').
