White flowers with magenta violet tips. Flowers late April-early October. Height 50-60cm (20-24); spread 40-50cm (16-20). Supplied in a 9cm pot. Astrantias have been a valued constituent of perennial borders for generations. These exceptional plants produce a profusion of pincushion-like flowers on wiry stems. Plants are slug-resistant & drought-tolerant; flowers are attractive to bees & butterflies & will last for up to two weeks in water! Can also be dried for winter use.
