For the more frequent frame maker the no.2 kit offers a quicker and easier method of joining frames. After the two pieces have been clamped the handpinner is used to insert the vee nail. The levered action pushes the wedge smoothly and at the correct angle into softwood or hardwood frames. The driver can be adjusted vertically so that a flush finish is always achieved and a magnetic tip holds the vee nail in place whilst the clamp is positioned. A suitable wood glue should always be used in conjunction with vee nails. Maximum workpiece size 75mm width x 100mm height.
