Polished brass morning glory sundial 210mm in diameter. From as early as 9000bc, man has been facinated by the measurement of time. From the earliest bone calenders where months and luner phases were recorded with markings on amimal bones, to todays high specification dials which are amazingly accurate time pieces. Along the way there were some truly beautiful dials created many of which were responsible for todays interest in their collection, worldwide. As "time stands still for no man" what better way to mark it than by having your own ornamental dial proudly displayed. It should be noted that these sundials are ornamental and in some cases do not provide true and accurate time readings..
