thread the punch onto the allen screw & then pass the allen screw through the hole. position the die on top of the die nut & then screw the die nut onto the projecting allen screw until it touches the metal sheet. use an allen key to turn the allen screw. the screw will pull the punch through the metal & a hole will result.

to use these punches they require a hole to be drilled through the sheet metal (large enough to clear the allen screw) then the die & allen screw are threaded through the sheet metal then onto the die nut & screw die nut. when the allen screw is tightened the punch will cut cleanly & evenly through the metal.
