Everbuild rapid set flexiplus is a rapid setting ceramic tile adhesive with added latex powder for enhanced flexibility. rapid set flexiplus is used for bonding ceramic tiles to prepared floors & walls without the need for a separate flexible additive. can be used internally & externally & bonds to most building substrates such as concrete, cement screeds & render, timber, existing ceramic tiles, dense blockwork & unskimmed plasterboard. conforms to bs 5980 as a type 1 class aa adhesive; i.e. the adhesive is fully water-resistant. Surfaces/ preparation
concrete/screeds/renders/unskimmed plasterboard/blockwork- allow fresh concrete etc to dry for at least 4 weeks before tiling. ensure floors are free from rising damp. prime surfaces with everbuild pva bond diluted 4 parts water to 1 part pva bond & allow to dry.
timber floors
- suitable for interior timber floors only. ensure adequate ventilation beneath floors. cover wooden floors with moisture resistant exterior grade (marine) plywood, which must be at least 12mm thick. secure with screws, not nails, at 300mm centers. prime with everbuild pva bond diluted 3 parts water to 1 part pva bond & allow to dry.
softwood tongue & groove boarding- boards must be screwed (not nailed) down to joists at 300mm centers & surfaces sealed with everbuild pva bond diluted 3 parts water to 1 part pva bond & allowed to dry.
existing tiling. ensure tiles are securely bonded to wall or floor. roughen surface of glazed tiles with sander. apply a bonding coat of neat everbuild pva bond. apply mixed adhesive whilst bonding coat is still tacky.

Everbuild rapid set tile mortar is a cement-based polymer modified powdered tile adhesive with rapid setting properties, specifically designed for same day fixing & grouting of ceramic floor tiles.
