Product Description

To accommodate the latest trends Winsor & Newton Universal Deep Edge Canvas offer artists a thicker canvas ideal for hanging unframed. This medium grain canvas has a primed weight of 12oz/350gsm & has a double coat of primer to prevent the sinking of oil colour & aid adhesion. Made from 100% cotton & stapled on the reverse leaving the sides clear to be painted means that there is no need for framing. Winsor & Newton Universal Deep Edge Canvases are suitable for use with oil (including water mixable oil), acrylic & alkyd colour. (All canvases come with corner wedges to achieve extra tension).
