Drawing Inks are used where the main requirement is brilliance of colour. A range of 23 colours is available offering outstanding brilliance & transparency. Because Drawing Inks contain dyes, they do not possess the lightfast properties of pigmented colours & should not be used in work intended to be displayed. The exceptions to this are Black, White, Gold & Silver which are pigmented. The colour may be diluted with water, it is important to use distilled water to avoid separating of the dye from the binder. Dip pens & brushes are recommended for application of Drawing Inks. Clean with water when working. Remove dry ink with Meths followed by washing with soap & warm water. Water resistant when dry. Unsuitable for use with fountain pens.
