The SAS6/i R Integrated SAS Controller from Dell™ provides integrated RAID capabilities. The card supports both SAS & Serial ATA drives. Featuring two internal connectors with 4 ports each, the card features an impressive 8 ports for connecting drives to. The SAS6/i R features PCIe&174; connectivity & requires a x 8 slot for connectivity. The card also offers up to 3 GBps of maximum burst speed per port & supports S.M.A.R.T. physical drives up to 10 physical drives. This product has been tested & validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system. Compatible with Power Edge M600 Blade / M605 MT
