Product Description

12 bottles of Viña Tarapacá Merlot 2012 Valle. This is a smooth, plummy Merlot from Viña Tarapacá in the Maipo Valley, one of the most beautiful wineries in the world. Its founder, Don Francisco de Rojas, travelled to France in the 1870s & returned with vines from Bordeaux & Burgundy, planting them in the perfect grape growing environment around his classic colonial style house. In 1992 new owners took over & invested considerably in the vineyards & winery, adding a humidity & temperature controlled cellar with 4, 000 barrel capacity for maturing the wines. Winemaker Cristian Molina has won the Tarapacá some excellent ratings from top US critic Robert Parker. The lush, fruity 2012 Merlot is an ideal choice to go with lamb chops, rich tomatoey pasta or tasty sausages & mash. You must be over 18 to buy this product.
