POC’s DH specific elbow pads offer the highest levels of protection & the assurance that they’re going to stay in place even in the roughest riding conditions. The pads utilise a crash retention strap (CRS) to make sure that the pads don’t slip out of place so you can be sure they’re where you need them to be when you need them. The pad is covered with a low friction hard shell cap to reduce any friction in the event of a crash. The impact pads used are VPD 2.0 (Visco-Elastic Polymer Dough) which have high levels of comfort manoeuvrability & protection. VPD 2.0 offers excellent levels of impact absorption & also adapts to suit the individual rider for an individual fit. It goes from soft to hard on impact to dissipate the impact forces so you do not have to compromise on comfort to get top level protection.
