The Strada Smart employs the technology held in your smart phone & neatly displays it in a compact head unit on your bars! The Strada Smart connects with your smartphone through the Cat Eye Cycling App. In Mirror mode the smartphone records ride data & transmits a copy to the Strada Smart. Sensor Direct mode syncs the Strada Smart directly with the Bluetooth Smart Speed Cadence Heart Rate & Power sensors. Simply download the free Cateye Cycling App to your phone then set up the Bluetooth Mirroring to the Strada Smart head unit & using your phone’s technology data will be displayed on your screen including; speed data mileage data time data & altitude data (in mirroring mode) while the ride data is recorded on your phone for use later. Phone & messaging icons will appear on your bars too useful if you’re expecting a call or text. Use the head unit without the phone by upgrading with optional Bluetooth Speed/ Cadence & Heart Rate senors or sync the sensors (including Bluetooth Power Sensors) directly with your phone to record the data for your training records.
