During the ground-up design process our engineering team focused on three core performance tenets: Fit. Breathability. value. Fit & breathability are amply handled via our Ventilated DH Air padding & the Ionic+™ Antimicrobial comfort liner which uses silver metalized yarn for helmet odour control. We spec’d the helmet with 14 vents to prioritize ventilation regardless of where the helmet is being ridden. & we’ve added a Fidlock buckle for easy one-handed release. For the young guns. Weighing in at 950 grams the Sanction is Bells fully-ventilated low-profile helmet specifically designed with the younger rider in mind. Its sizing skews smaller than both its predecessor &40;the Bellistic&41; & the more robust Full-9 & Drop models. Though Bell originally envisioned the Sanction for youths quite a few adults who want more coverage than an open-face trail lid choose this helmet. If it fits you theyre OK with that.
