They asked for the all-around fastest, lightest, & most puncture-resistant tyres with the ride quality of tubulars. The new design came from years of in-house development & testing at Specialized. It features a flexible centre construction that smooths out road imperfections & keeps rolling resistance low, while Specialized’s exclusive GRIPTON compound leads the industry in both speed & cornering grip. Next up, the wide tread design & stable sidewalls deliver precise handling while diving hard into corners. & finally, the cross-woven Blackbelt breaker is cut-resistant. Rapid Air tires seat easily on any tubeless-ready rim, & they can often be seated with just a floor pump.
