The 2020 Orbea Alma H20 Hardtail Mountain Bike in Black is the top bike in the aluminium Alma range. It is based on their World Cup Cross Country race bike to give you a light, fast & fun bike that is a blast to ride on single track & will also get you to work in record time if you need it to. Like most modern hardtails it comes with a 27.5” wheel on smaller size bikes & a 29” wheel on bigger bikes. The Alma H20 is built around a hydroformed aluminium frame. It uses geometry based on the demands of the toughest modern racecourses. A slacker head angle improves handling on technical sections while a steeper seat angle & lower stack height increase handling precision & pedalling efficiency. Shorter chainstays deliver maximum agility without instability. The top tube of the Alma has a distinctive bend in it. This is part of Orbea’s 4x 4 Dynamic Structure. It adds a natural flex point in the frame which gives you an efficient, smooth ride that feels like floating over rough terrain. Boost spacing at the back allows for shorter chainstays, increased rigidity & more tyre clearance. That all adds up to a bike that accelerates better & tracks better through rocks & roots. The Alma H20 comes with the same 12 speed Shimano SLX gearing & Shimano MT201 hydraulic disc brakes as the H30. The big upgrade is the switch to Rockshox Judy Silver TK air fork with a remote lockout so you can shut the fork off for sprints & climbs. A Selle Royal saddle, FSA headset & Maxxis tyres round off a great value build. This bike is perfect for Riders who like to go fast. The Alma is based on race winning pro level bikes. It will have you blasting through the local woods & doing laps at your local trail centre in record times. If you need to get to work fast it will do that as well. With a remote lockout fork the Alma H20 lets you climb & sprint more quickly.
