The Bontrager Vella Women’s Road Cycling Shoes are Bontrager’s entry level road shoe. They are designed to be ‘walkable’ so they are efficient on the bike but still be comfortable off the bike. This makes them ideal for touring & commuting as road cycling. The Vella is the women’s equivalent of the men’s Solstice shoe. The Vella shoes are compatible with MTB style 2-bolt cleats. This allows them to have more grip on the sole, making them easier to walk in. Although the soles have some flex in them for walking they are still pretty stiff so that you get efficient power transfer on the bike for better climbing & more speed on the flats.
