The Bontrager Starvos Road Cycling Shoes are designed to give you a good quality performance road cycling shoe without breaking the bank. Bontrager have aimed these shoes at cyclists who are new to clipping in, or to regular cyclists on a budget. The Starvos shares much of the construction of more expensive models like the Circuit shoes. It uses the same in Form Race last to give you a performance fit with a bit of extra room for added comfort. The Starvos also shares the same nylon composite sole construction, Power Truss design & stiffness rating as the Circuit. The major difference is that the Starvos comes with 3 hook & loop (Velcro) straps while the Circuit uses 1 strap & a Boa dial. The Starvos is compatible with the standard 3 bolt road cleats out of the box & can also take MTB style 2 bolt cleats using an adaptor plate (sold separately). All together the Bontrager Starvos shoes are a good option if you want a proper road cycling shoe but don’t want to spend a fortune.
