A high quality mould made from Karens own hand made creation, therefore giving a handmade look! A face/head mould
- use for young, old, male or female. For flesh colour, use Mexican Modelling Paste
- Soft Beige (SU03A001-12), or colour up white paste with Chestnut (5314) or Paprika / Flesh (5313) Paste Food Colours. Very flexible & easy to use To Use:- Sprinkle cornflour into mould & then tap out the excess. (If you require a lustred finish, you could brush a lustre dust into the mould instead of cornflour!) Press paste into mould ensuring that it goes into all the finer details of the mould. Ensure that the paste does not go over the edge of the mould (for neatness) & flatten the back. Any excess on the back may be taken out using a knife carefully from the centre to the outside – doing it this way won’t disturb the paste in the mould. Head may be made & used as a 2D mould or, if more paste put into mould to round off the back of the head, it can be used on a 3D model. Turn mould over & release the paste from the mould. May be coloured by dusting with dust or lustre dust colours, or painted by mixing in iso-propyl alcohol (Rejuvenator Spirit) with the dusts to make a paint. Full instructions are given with the mould. You will need a modelling strength paste made from 1/2 sugar flower paste
- (code 5962 is white) - and 1/2 sugarpaste - (code 55122 is white) to make the moulded pieces, OR take the sugarpaste used on the cake & add a strengthener such as gum tragacanth or tylose powder (1 tspn per 250g paste).
