In this class students learn concepts & functions that are critical to the System Administrator role in implementing & managing the Oracle E-Business Suite. Topics covered include configuring security & user management, configuring flexfields, managing concurrent processing, & setting up other essential features such as profile options & printing. In addition, configuration & maintenance of an Oracle E-Business Suite through Oracle Applications Manager is discussed. Students also learn the fundamentals of Oracle Workflow including its setup. The System Administrator Fundamentals class provides the foundation needed to effectively control security & ensure smooth operations for an E-Business Suite installation. Demonstrations & hands-on practice reinforce the fundamental concepts of configuring an Oracle E-Business Suite, as well as handling day-to-day system administrator tasks.
