In this class you will learn how to set up & manage an organization & chart of accounts using JD Edwards Enterprise One General Accounting features. You will learn basic features of the General Accounting system & set up General Accounting constants. You will learn how to set up fiscal date patterns, companies, & business units.
You will also learn how to set up & manage a model chart of accounts based on an understanding of the cross-functional dependencies between the chart of accounts & other JD Edwards Enterprise One systems that share accounting/financial data.
Students with a focus on accounts & financial management will learn & practice key concepts that make up the framework of corporate accounting through software. Students will also learn to set up model business unit types, & create accounts using temporarily invalid account numbers.
