This 5-day course is designed to give students the tools & knowledge to customize Share Point sites without writing code, by using Share Point Designer 2007 & in-browser customizations. The course addresses aspects of design, such as applying alternate page layouts, creating & styling new pages & modifying site navigation, as well as external data integration & custom workflows. Students will understand the difference between using Share Point Designer 2007 & in-browser tools-what is achievable with each tool, & how, & when, to use those tools to effect Share Point site customization.
Prior to taking this course, students should have a general knowledge of Web site design & methodologies. They should also be familiar with Share Point from an end user or administrative point of view. An understanding of ASP.NET 2.0 master pages & cascading style sheets is helpful, but not required.This training may be available onsite; please contact us if you are interested.
