This 5-day instructor-led class teaches students how to manage Web Sphere-related problems more skillfully within their organizations by using problem determination tools & techniques.
Throughout this class, students discuss common scenarios that they may face in their daily activities & learn methodologies & techniques for problem determination, including how to use online IBM support tools to resolve problems. Students also learn how to communicate more effectively with IBM support teams so they can identify a problem & find its solution.
Topics include problems associated with product installation & maintenance, database connectivity, security configuration, server start & stop failures, Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application deployment, Web requests, Java Virtual Machine (JVM) tuning & memory management, Web services, & default messaging.
