Facelets is a powerful but lightweight page declaration language to design Java Server Faces views using HTML style templates & to build component trees. Facelets also enables code reuse through templating & can significantly reduce the time to develop & deploy user interfaces. Included in Java EE 6, the JSF 2.0 standard further simplifies the web application development.
The Developing Web Applications Using JSF Technologies course provides an in-depth introduction to the JSF 2.0 technology. Students perform the course lab exercises using the Net Beans IDE & the Glass Fish Application Server v 3. This course supports Sun Certified JSF Developer.
