This course is intended for administrators & network professionals responsible for the installation, deployment & maintenance of Windows XP Professional. The course will cover basic installation & mass deployment issues, as well as hardware installation & configuration. In addition, configuration of the user interface will be discussed & many of the new features provided by XP such as Remote Assistance & Remote Desktop.
The course also takes a reasonably in depth look at the TCP/IP network protocol, its addressing scheme & architecture. The course is also intended as an aid in preparing for the Microsoft Certified Professional Exam 70- 270, Installing, Configuring & Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional.
This course covers the subject areas covered in Microsoft Course MS2272.
