Product Description

This course teaches students how to use Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to store & manage all product data in a single centralized repository that provides secure visibility across the entire enterprise. External parties, such as partners & suppliers can also gain access to the repository. Students learn to set up PLM, manage roles, implement role-based security, manage item catalog categories, use spreadsheets, manage import formats, define lifecycle phases, & create workflow templates. Students learn how to capture & implement different categories of changes, such as Change Orders, Change Requests, & Issues. With Product Lifecycle Support, students learn how to manage the planning & execution of manufacturing while obtaining feedback from the manufacturing process. This course provides practices to help students master these tasks.
