In this course, participants will learn about Order Management process flows, application functionality, & the requirements required to manage & control sales order fulfillment. Students will receive instruction on how to enter & maintain simple to complex Sales Orders. They will learn how to manage changes, & cancellation to orders, & how to process returns. Students will learn critical tangent topics including Customer/ Party Management, Sales Credits, Shipping, Pricing, & Inventory related topics such as Items, & Organization structure as they relate to sales order fulfillment. Students will also receive information regarding the set up & implementation considerations of the Order Management product.
This course also covers Oracle Advanced Pricing which supports e-business applications by providing a flexible pricing engine that executes pricing & promotional calculations for Oracle Order Management & other Oracle Applications. Advanced Pricing provides the flexibility to meet the needs of complex pricing situations for a range of industry business requirements including: consumer goods, telecommunications, services, high technology, automotive, & aerospace/defense businesses that sell to other businesses; &, telemarketing, mail order catalog, & web store businesses that sell directly to consumers.
Students learn about the following Advanced Pricing features & concepts: generic setup steps, pricing security, qualifiers, modifiers, price lists, formulas, modifiers, attribute management, & troubleshooting.
Set up & use price lists with pricing lines to define item and/or item category prices Learn how to use modifiers to set up price adjustments (for example, discounts & surcharges), benefits (for example, free goods, coupons) & freight & special charges
