An important component of SOA is the ability to show true business value & efficiency. Therefore it is critical that the IT organization gains visibility & control over all project assets in the enterprise, including design artifacts & services. A unified approach to SOA governance also ensures compliance with architectural standards, maximum reuse & accurate decision-making.

This course trains SOA architects & project managers on the use of Oracle Governance products, including Oracle Enterprise Repository & Oracle Service Registry. Students learn how to organize, manage & monitor reusable assets throughout the entire SOA lifecycle, from design & development to testing & production.

• Model project artifacts using custom asset types
• Exchange artifacts across an SOA repository & UDDI registries
• Develop a rich taxonomy to categorize & classify assets
