The Chasseur shallow serving casserole is one of the most iconic pieces of cookware developed in decades. Traditionally made in the French region of Ardennes, the cast iron dishes are the ultimate product in slow cooking. They are made by craftsmen who have used the same techniques that have produced these highly adaptly casseroles for over 70 years.
These traditional serving dishes are extremely versatile & have been adapted to suit modern living, making them an ideal oven-to-tableware product due their ability to keep dishes warmer for longer. The cast iron body distributes the heat evenly & they can be used on all types of hobs (including induction), whilst being easily transferable from hob to oven. The phenolic lid knobs are ovenproof to 200°C & the double enamelled coating makes the pan easy to clean & very durable.
A special design feature on the underside of the lid means condensation drips down during cooking ensuring your end result is moist & effortless. All products are dishwasher safe
