Built from select Northern Hard Rock Maple, John boos butcher block table will last for generations. They&8217;re made to professional standards, supplied to butchers, restaurants, and even the White House Kitchen. The end grain work surfaces are easy on knives and resist nicks and gouges. The Jasmine features a 7.5cm thick end grain Butcher Block surface in northern Hard Rock Maple with a Beeswax finish. It is then finished with a painted base, shelf, and self closing drawer in your chosen colour. John Boos & Co. was originally founded in 1887 as a blacksmiths shop in Illinois, USA. The blacksmiths use the trunk of a sycamore tree to straighten the shock of the blacksmiths hammer. As the local butcher passed the shop, he noticed the block where the anvil was resting and
