This touch-screen weather station impresses not only through its excellent & timeless high-gloss design with illuminated, heavy glass base & also illuminated, transparent frame. It mainly offers the possibility of querying the weather data in real time.
Simply tap the required data field once & the weather station immediately requests data from the corresponding sensor & displays it without delay. This new bi-directional system facilitates live communication between the display device & the sensor. To help you observe particularly rapid weather changes as they happen, for example gusts of wind, the transmission interval can be changed from 20 seconds to 2 seconds. Along with the extensive information about all the relevant weather data, the " Weather-Willy" is also not missing here. In addition to the usual weather data, interior & exterior temperatures, numerical atmospheric pressure, moon phases, etc., this weather station also warns you against approaching frost. The internal memory makes the weather station ideal for long-term weather observation. Up to 3000 sets of data can be saved in the internal memory. This data can then be transferred to a PC via a USB (Universal Serial Bus) port. Once on the PC, the data read-outs can then be displayed & analysed using the supplied &lsquo Weather Pro Edition 2007&rsquo software. The atmospheric pressure, interior temperature & interior humidity sensors are already integrated into the basic station, so no further sensor is required to measure these. Other weather data, such as wind speed, wind direction, amount of rain, temperature, humidity & hours of sunshine are wirelessly transmitted from the combination sensor included in the set (KS 888) to the weather station.
