The Universal Drive is used for realistic driving for points, form signals & crossing gates & construction vehicles & similar objects in motion. This depending on the discontinued operations mode, a simple movement between two end positions for the switch machine or a very realistic simulation of the inertia due to a number of times, ringing diminution in the end positions. A control electronics, a running or, alternatively, two commercially available servos, each on a base plate, the steering wheel is mounted at an angle lever. Through this lever can set up an over or under settlement can be set-up & also extra mechanical stops designed to protect the often delicate models can be arranged. To acknowledge the extreme positions two mechanical micro switches can be affixed. The control electronics has 3 Key inputs which the functions ON
- OFF
- & TOGGLE mode (alternating on / off) have the same key. On the output side in parallel, one or two rowing machines can be infected the end positions & the rotation speed can be set for over 3 potentiomete.
In addition, pads are equipped with extra switching outputs for 2 pairs of alternately flashing LED (railway crossing) & two status LEDs on the output indicator are available Also two relays can be used for necessary feedback tasks or be connected to automatic train control. The resistors for the LED & the switch settings with suppressor for the relay coils are already integrated into the control electronics. Current consumption depends on the used rowing machine.
