Traditional computer fans help in dissipating the air; for this reason the air circulation was for many years the most important factor in determining the cooling efficiency, since most of the fans are used for exhaust air. Since excess pressure is now gaining importance in computer cooling, Silverstone created the Air Penetrator, which is used especially for sucking air; here the air circulation is not important. While developing the Air Penetrator the aim was to focus the air stream in an eddy, so that the air is channelised in the inside of the modern computer casings through different obstacles & thus enables a more efficient cooling power.
