The RO-FL series (Relay Optocoupler Flex) is a flexible system for control & regulation technology modules. All modules have an additional plug connector, the "RO-Flex-Connector". Several modules can be connected together with this connector.

Interfaces:
There are currently four interface options are available: USB (Universal Serial Bus), CAN, RS232, RS485. The available interfaces have a RO-Flex-Connector, to which various input/output modules can be attached. Special feature here is the galvanic isolation on all interface modules.

The input / output modules have 2 of the RO-Flex connectors. On the left-RO-Flex connector interface module or a different input / output module is connected. The right-RO-flex connector used to connect other input / output modules. Total maximum 16 input / output modules can be connected to an interface module.

Service friendly plug-in system:
The connector consists of a spring & terminal strip with ejection levers. These allow easy entry & unplugging, & a rapid rewiring the sockets. The cable connection itself is via a screw less connection system. Required Control tool for this is included in each module.

Analogue Inputs
Thanks to the A / D converter, it is possible to convert voltages into digital values. The conversion process always requires a certain amount of time in which the input must remain constant. The unipolar voltage of analog inputs is 0-5 V. Bipolar voltage is 0-10 v +/-5V or +/-10V.

Analogue outputs
A D / A converter has the analog outputs to convert a digital value into an analog signal. Depending on the type, D/A converters can generate voltages or currents of digital values. The voltage range can be chosen by software between 0-5 V & + / -5 V, or 0-10 V or + / -10 V. D / A converter with current outputs can deliver current supply 0-20 m A, 4-20 m A or 0-24 m A.
