Router mode:
Simple modem (German cable, BW cable, telecom or Congstar etc.) have only a single network cable connection for a computer. The mini-router is connected to the modem and immediately a lot of computers and game consoles get wireless access to the Internet.

Access-point mode:
An existing router can build up another "radio cell" at any point in the house. You only need to connect your existing router with this mini-router (with a network cable). Client mode:
