The switch detects automatically, whether a Po E-device is connected & which voltage the end-device.
Hereby, the maximum possible Po E power of 15.4 watt is available at every port.
If a device is connected, that does not have a Po E support, the ALL8089 W Po E detects this too & no voltage is applied, so that the device is protected against damage.
Via Web management Ports can be switched completely dead to for example boot a device from a distance.
The ALL8089 W Po E has a robust metallic casing & can also be installed 48.3 cm (19"), so that it finds place in every conventional server rack.
The eight RJ45 network ports automatically detect the transfer rates of the connected devices (10 or 100 Mbit/s). Because of the full & half-duplex operation a maximum of 200 MBit/s per port is available.
