So that light is also good light the illumination at the work place, in hospitals, offices, or schools has to meet specific minimum values. With the testo 545, you can perform measurements according to DIN 5032, which are mandatory for lighting in public buildings. Our eyes are much more sensitive to yellow / green light than for blue & red light. This anomaly must be taken into account by a Luxmeter calculation. A special optical filter on the Testo 545 takes over this function. Only filters with precise measurements on different coloured light sources, such as mercury vapour, sodium vapour lamps, etc. are possible. Similarly, with this device & specific temporal averaging possible in order to be able to average luminance of a room, find employment & so on. The measured readings can be stored in the integrated memory & through the optional software they can be exported & worked on. The stored values of light strength can be connected to a light profile which provides valuable clues to the uniformity of the illumination. The ability to administer the measurement points provides a particular sort of job assistance. Up to 99 readings can be allotted to a measurement point. That is why a clear identification & documentation are warranted.
