This powerful wireless N dual-band access point has versatile usage possibilities. Thus, it connects your PCs and laptops wirelessly with the network. Owing to the wireless N technology the DAP-1522 enables transfer rates of up to 300 MBit/s and an astonishing range.
Along with its function as classical access point the DAP-1522 can also be used as wireless bridge. Up to four devices with a network interface, like game consoles, printers, cameras or PCs can be connected to the gigabit LAN port of the DAP-1522 and can access your network and the Internet wirelessly. The wireless bridge function can be used with every operating system, no additional drivers need to be installed.
According to your requirements the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz frequency band can be used flexibly with fast 300Mbit/s. Interferences, caused by other radio sources, can be avoided by changing the frequency band.
For protecting your data against unauthorised access the DAP-1522 supports the latest wireless encryption standards WEP, WPA and WPA2. With WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) new devices can be integrated in the network easily and safely. All the security settings are done automatically via a pin-query or by pressing a button.
