D-Link Dgs-1005A/E 5Port Gigabit
This gigabit switch from D-Link makes available 5 LAN connections for the network. Attached devices are always interconnected with the max. speed in each case. If 100 MBit/s are sufficient for the fastest Internet connection to rout, then 1000 MBit/s are fast for copying large data sets straight enough.
The Gigabit-Switch by D-Link belongs to a series of devices that are fitted with the "D-Link Green" technology. This enables saving of energy, low heat loss and a longer life without any loss in performance and functions. With its energy-efficient power supply (Energy Star Level V), the reduced use of hazardous substances (RoHS-compliant) and the reusable packaging material the switch is extremely environmentally-friendly.

The DGS-1008A automatically saves power through different methods. The device automatically disables ports without connection, through which a lot of power is saved, since unused ports and the ones connected to switched-off computers do not consume any power.
