Wago has developed multi-purpose junction box connector 2273 in order to accommodate more line branches in junction boxes & device connection terminals. Requires 51% less space in comparison to popular 273 series. A new contact system is possible from it. The new terminals can be inserted more easily in junction boxes & device connection terminals & thus reduce the risk of damage to single conductors.
The advantages are obvious:
The cross section from 0.5 to 2.5 mm (solid) of the conductor can be individually mixed, therefore only one series is required for connecting all cross sections.
Transparent casing for visual inspection.
Large inspection opening for all testing probes.
Inspection glass on lid for inspecting contact protection.
Rapid detection of terminal type, since every size of terminal size has its own lid colour.
