The C-Control Pro-System is based on RISC-microcontrollers of AVR-family of Atmel, which is characterized by low power consumption. These efficient microcontrollers have proved themselves in the meanwhile in huge quantities in numerous applications. The Unit Mega 32 consists of an 8 bit RISC processor unit (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) with flash memory, EEPROM, S-RAM, digital ports, timer/counter, comparator, PWM/DAC channels & serial interface. The type Mega 128 offers besides these system components more storage capacity & a large number of input-/output interfaces. Most of the 131commands of the AVR-Controller are executed with a stroke. Therefore these building blocks reach an extraordinarily high processing speed. The microcontroller-chips are together with other important system components in a compact DIL-component (40- or 64-pin case) & so form the CC-Pro-module. For clock generation there is a frequency generator in module with a frequency of 14.7456 MHz.
In the module there is also a C/ Basic-Byte-Code-Interpreter preinstalled, which converts the programming languages to machine language. The program for the respective application can therefore be written on a PC either in the programming language "C" or " Basic".
